This weeks recap:
- This week marked National Accessibility week - I was proud to support Easter Seals for Red Shirt Day
- Closed out Asian heritage month with Taste of Asia reception and the Asian heritage month event on the Hill
- June marks National Indigenous History Month
- June also marks Italian Heritage month. I met with the Italian Ambassador for festa della republicca
- June also marks Portuguese and Filipino Heritage Month
- In ENVI - S-5 passed 3rd reading in the House
- In Agriculture - I attended the farm to plate reception (sustainable foods): met with local stakeholder making “upcycled” plant-based foods.
- Launch of Social Finance Fund with MP Turnbull and Minister Gould - this is a federal investment to help social enterprise organizations.
- Start of the Pride Month - my staff attended we belong Breakfast at YRP to show support!
