This Biweekly Update marks a period of significant observances and engagements. We celebrated International Women’s Day, where we joined voices worldwide to champion the cause of gender equality.
I had the privilege to attend the 68th session of the United Nations Commission on the Status of Women (CSW68), an enriching experience dedicated to women’s empowerment. We also observed the International Day to Combat Islamophobia, reaffirming our commitment to a society free from hate and discrimination. With the arrival of Nowruz, we welcomed the Persian New Year and the spring’s promise of renewal. St. Patrick’s Day allowed us to honor Irish heritage throughout this month, embracing the vibrant culture and contributions of the Irish community. Each of these occasions reinforces our collective commitment to diversity, equity, and unity.
