As a member of The Standing Committee on Agriculture and Agri-Food we had a study on the price of food and how they can be lowered. Since this study we have introduced Bill C-56 the Affordable Housing and Groceries Act, which I spoke to the CEO of Walmart Gonzalo Gebara about. I also spoke with Galen Weston Jr. President of Loblaws about the impact climate change will make on the price of groceries and our health and what we can do to prevent that.
