On April 7th, the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance, Chrystia Freeland, released Budget 2022: A Plan to Grow Our Economy and Make Life More Affordable. Budget 2022 invests in people, economic growth, and a clean future for everyone.
On April 27, I stood in the House to speak on the budget, focusing on two specific areas: measures that will make life more affordable for Canadians, and measures to preserve and improve Canada’s role in the world. I believe strongly that Budget 2022 is the right budget for all Canadians.
